TRAVEL HASHTAG DEBUTS IN BANGKOK
It will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, which will host the 12th edition of the networking event dedicated to promoting tourism in Italy on October 25 and 26.
Travel Hashtag, known for its travel and lifestyle events, has chosen Southeast Asia as its destination for the grand finale of 2023 - the twelfth edition dedicated to Italy. This two-day event, following the one in New York in late September, is scheduled at two different hotel locations. It is organized in collaboration with the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by ENIT.
On October 25th, at the brand-new INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel, the theme will be #glamourousitaly. Travel agents, tour operators, journalists, wedding planners, and travel influencers are expected to attend. On October 26th, at the Rembrandt Hotel & Suites Bangkok, an afternoon business talk titled "Bridging Italy and Thailand in Mutual Tourism Development" is scheduled to give way to a networking session with an aperitif involving entrepreneurs and managers of the companies present in the exclusive network of the Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce.
Nicola Romanelli, founder and president of Travel Hashtag, explains, "Bringing Italy to Bangkok means opening a new channel of opportunity in a potential area that looks to our country with interest relative to experiential tourism, as well as one related to shopping and business." Among the partners who have supported this initiative are Etihad Airways, The Mall, Kelmer Group, Italy for Wedding, Italia Wedding Tourism, Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel, Basilicata Region, and the Municipality of Cremona.
There is also significant interest from Thai brands joining the event as sponsors to promote themselves before a distinguished audience in the Travel & Lifestyle segment. Among the first are Tantawan Resort & Spa (Phuket) and The Unusual Trip (Bangkok).
