Thailand Returns to Milan Design Week 2026 with “Slow Hand Design 2026” Exhibition

From 19–26 April 2026, Thailand’s 'Slow Hand Design 2026' exhibition returns to Milan Design Week 2026, hosted at @superstudio.design.

This year’s exhibition, titled “Heritage Reimagined,” highlights how Thai designers are pushing the boundaries of upcycling by seamlessly blending ancestral craftsmanship with cutting-edge biotechnology. Through innovative materials such as mycelium-grown tiles and bio-melanin fibers, the showcase presents a forward-looking vision of regenerative design rooted in tradition.

Slow Hand Design 2026 reflects Thailand’s evolving creative landscape—where sustainability, cultural heritage, and innovation converge to shape the future of design.
