[PPR] TICC attends the inauguration of the EssilorLuxottica Factory.

Rayong, 17 October 2023 - The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) attended the inauguration of the EssilorLuxottica Factory in Rayong.

Mr. Giacomo Iobizzi, the Secretary General of TICC, and Ms. Thuwada Chuayram (Tia), TICC PR and Editorial Assistant, participated in the Grand Opening Ceremony and toured the factory to gain insights into the production processes within.

EssilorLuxottica, an Italian-French vertically integrated multinational corporation, merges two highly complementary and inspirational business stories, Essilor and Luxottica. The opening of this factory, 128,000 sqm, involved an investment of over 400 million euros and was completed in just 18 months. Furthermore, it will contribute improving the employment rate in Thailand, providing jobs for more than 11,000 positions.
