[PPR] Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce Celebrates ITA Airways’ New Direct Rome-Bangkok Connection.
Rome, October 24, 2024 – The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce proudly participated in the official presentation of ITA Airways’ new direct flight route between Rome Fiumicino and Bangkok. The event took place at Hotel de la Ville, and signifies a major step in enhancing connectivity, fostering business exchange, and supporting cultural ties between Italy and Thailand.
Representing the Chamber, Secretary General Giacomo Iobizzi has attended the ceremony, that gathered distinguished guests, including H.E Ambassador Puttaporn Ewtoksan of Thailand; Ms. Nanthasiri Ronnasiri, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT); Emiliana Limosani, CCO of ITA Airways and CEO of Volare; Ivana Jelinic, CEO of ENIT; Alessandro Onorato, Councilor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism, and Fashion of the Municipality of Rome; and Sandro Botticelli, Marketing Director of TAT. This direct route, launching on November 16 with five weekly flights, is anticipated to benefit the tourism sector and strengthen connections at the public level between the two countries.
The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce looks forward to the positive impact of this route, enhancing business opportunities for Italian and Thai enterprises and encouraging vibrant cultural exchange between both nations.
