Piovan Group is the world’s leading player in the development and production of industrial automation systems for the storage, transport, and treatment of polymers, bioresins, recycled plastics, food liquids, food powders and creams.
With 14 production facilities located in Italy, Germany, Brazil, China, India and the USA, 43 service and sales branches and almost 2000 employees worldwide, Piovan Group is always close to its customers, on a global basis, from the design phase of the systems to their installation, start-up and operation. As per year 2022, Piovan Group’s revenues reached EUR 531 mln.
Piovan Asia Pacific since 2010
Piovan Group has been on the Thailand market for over ten years. The opening of the first branch under the name of Piovan Asia Pacific dates back to the year 2010, but a new office has been recently opened at the 14 floor of the Rasa Tower, Phahonyothin Road, Bangkok. Piovan Asia Pacific is the service and sales branch that coordinate the Asia Pacific Region, specially focusing on the market of Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, and Oceania. More than 50 employees are divided in five teams to coordinate the sales, the engineering projects, the after-sales services, the logistic and the finance.
As per the Asia region, Piovan Group also opened the first production plant in China in 2005, in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, and then another one in 2008 in Suzhou, in the Jiangsu province, but here a third new Piovan Group plant will rise soon. It will have offices, technological laboratories for testing, showrooms, warehouses, a production area designed according to lean methodologies and – very important – the new R&D department dedicated to the development of innovative technologies. The new site in Suzhou will be the reference headquarters for all the Group’s branches in the Asian region including Piovan Asia Pacific in Bangkok, Piovan Japan in Kobe, and ToBa PNC in Seoul, South Korea.
