[PPR] Strengthening Economic Ties: Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce Participates in 'Thai-Land of New Economy and New Opportunities' Conference

Milan, 2 October 2024.

The Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure to participate in the conference “Thai-Land of New Economy and New Opportunities” organized by Regione Lombardia, BOI Thailand and Confindustria Lombardia.

The event confirmed the importance of strengthening economic and commercial ties between Lombardy and Thailand, creating new opportunities for businesses and inspiring new collaborations between the two economic realities. The event is the continuation of last year’s official visit of Region Lombardia President Attilio Fontana to Thailand.

On behalf of the Chamber, there were present: Mr. Alberto La Lumia, member of the Board and Chairman of the Industrial Committee, Mr. Stefano Gonella, Vice Chairman for Southern Region Committee, Krabi, and Secretary General Giacomo Iobizzi who presented “The Role of Assistance to Italian Business by the Chamber of Commerce.”

A heartfelt thanks to all the organizers and participants for contributing to the success of the event and a very special thanks to all the speakers for their insights:

La Camera di Commercio Thai-Italiana ha avuto il piacere di partecipare alla conferenza "Thai-Land of New Economy and New Opportunities" organizzata dalla Regione Lombardia, dalla BOI Thailand e da Confindustria Lombardia.

L'evento ha confermato l'importanza di rafforzare i legami economici e commerciali tra Lombardia e Thailandia, creando nuove opportunità per le imprese e ispirando nuove collaborazioni tra le due realtà economiche. L'evento è il prolungamento della visita ufficiale dello scorso anno del Presidente della Regione Lombardia Attilio Fontana in Thailandia.

A nome della Camera, erano presenti: Alberto La Lumia, membro del Consiglio e Presidente del Comitato Industriale, Stefano Gonella, Vicepresidente del Comitato per la Regione Meridionale, Krabi, e il Segretario Generale Giacomo Iobizzi, che ha presentato "Il ruolo dell'assistenza alle imprese italiane da parte della Camera di Commercio".
