Highlights from the 33rd World Convention of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad
The second day in Brescia at the World Convention of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad was marked by intensive discussions and meetings, including the inaugural joint session between the Conference of Italian Regions and Assocamerestero. The group aims to leverage institutional strengths for internationalization and attracting foreign investments to bolster economic development in various regions.
At the meeting with delegates from Chambers of Commerce representing 63 countries worldwide, Giulia Pavese, Head of Economic Development and Internationalization, along with representatives from several Italian regions, including Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Calabria, Basilicata, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Veneto, and the autonomous province of Trento, reviewed ongoing initiatives and initial outcomes following the agreement signed in January this year between Assocamerestero and the regions. The initiatives presented today span diverse sectors such as food industry, high tech, aerospace, medical, logistics, and innovation, focusing on strengthening existing partnerships and developing new projects to promote Made in Italy across the globe.
