Company Background (for Business Directory): SPEA S.p.A, established in 1976, Is a global leader in lest equipment for Semiconductors, MEMS and Sensors, Electronic Boards, Batlenas and devices SPEA is the ony ATE manufacturer whose product portiolio embraces all the phases of testing. From semiconductor wafer test to packaged IC and MEMS sansor tast, from in-circuit and flying probe test on assembled FCEs to final functional test of assembled devices, pertormed with dedicated custom equipment.
Due to recent developments in China, COVID and supply chain disruptions, production capacities are being duplicated and relocated.
The most adopted stralegy is to serve home markals (EU/USA) and regional markets ASEAN/EMEA/BRIC from a base that is located in the target markets.
Thailand has already a large installed base of SPEA machines that must be properly supported for both service and applications
A further expansion of SPEA presence in this country is expected that for the next few years: hal's why it was required to instalf a local SPEA subsidiary la serve the existing customers, acquire new customers and lo boost the APAC strategy.
